Driving Directions:

Pocahontas County is located in the mid-eastern section of West Virginia along Virginia's western border. Only a few hours from major metropolitan areas, Pocahontas County is easily accessible from all directions via nearby interstate highways.

From the South: Via I-77 and I-64, exit at either Lewisburg Rt. 219 or White Sulphur Springs exit Rt. 60/92.

From the North: Via I-79, exit at the Weston (Rt. 33 exit), and proceed to Elkins and the South on Rt. 219.

From the East: Via I-81, exit at Rt. 33, Rt. 250 or Rt. 39 into West Virginia.

From the West: Via I -64, continue South down to WV Turnpike and I-64 into Lewisburg or White Sulphur Springs. From Lewisburg use 219N and from White Sulphur Springs use 92N and then West on Rt. 39 into Marlinton. Then 219N into Slatyfork.

Also from the West: I-64 to I-79 at Charleston then to Rt. 19 to Rt. 39 into Marlinton, 219N to Slatyfork or from Rt. 19 to Rt. 55 into Richwood and to Rt. 219.
